who are we

Orbits is a privately held company owned and operated by people with years of computer related experience. we have been designing systems, building and maintaining computer systems for over 15 years

how did we decide to get into this

after spending years in various jobs and positions we decided to put our expereince into a venture that would combine different aspects of the industry. We wanted to put a new spin on how computers, consumer electronics, and digital entertainment/media is created, sold, and distributed

what we aim to do

we want to build a more intimate and involved relationship between consumers and the products they buy. We would like for consumers to have more direct 'say' in how products are developed, marketed and sold. We would also like to create a more educated customer base, we believe this will force us to create and provide better products, listen more intently to consumer choice, and foster a stronger and more lasting realtionship with the most important people we can think of...YOU...the perosn who actually has to sit down, use, and hopefully enjoy our products

how we differ from our competitors

we arent simply concerned with the bottom line for today...we are more concerned with our customer relationship for tommorrow. Our goal here at Orbits is to NOT sell the customer a product, but build a forward moving relationship. We offer classes, we help educated and train, we allow you to come in and kick the tires constantly...virtually 24 hours a day. We provide an environment where REAL things happen between people and the goods....test it out...play a game..join a tournament...turn it on....surf with it...take your time relax....get comfortable with your potential buy.....use the THING....and tell us what you think ...if you like it...you buy it....if not....then try the other one over there...

Our Recycling Service

When you drop off your equipment, we open it up and test its functionality. If it can be repaired then we refurbish the equipment and either sell it at a discounted price or we place it in the homes of young people or families in the local community that might be in need of a system. If it can’t be repaired then we dispose of it at a larger recycling facility.

How it benefits you

Businesses and Corporations have to abide by regulatory guidelines in how they dispose of their equipment. We can make sure you meet those regulatory guidelines. Orbits will value your existing equipment for tax reporting purposes, refurbish that equipment, and place it on our shelves at a significantly reduced price. We also have many programs setup that assists in placing equipment into the hands and homes of local families that maybe in need.

Credit Towards Newer Equipment

If you are looking to upgrade your existing equipment we can value your existing equipment and credit that towards some of our newer products.

Profit on the back end

Orbits is open to sharing profits with companies disposing of their old equipment. We can place a value on the equipment, refurbish the equipment and bring it up to speed, at the time of sale we will split the proceeds with you.

Free Removal

We will send out a representative to examine your equipment. If we consider it fit for use then we will dispatch a truck to come out immediately and remove your equipment at no cost to you.

What is Recycling

Most people think of recycling & waste management in terms of large equipment and disposal units that destroy and process items into other resources. But recycling doesn’t have to be so extensive. Taking an OLD PC and upgrading it a bit is another form of recycling. Extending the usefulness of equipment lifespan is also considered recycling.

If you have any old or unused equipment available, then recycling might be an option for you.

Why do it

There are many reasons to recycle your equipment; we are only concerned with one right now. There are people who could use those resources. Rather than have your 2 year old computer or laptop sitting in your basement, the landfill, or having been snuck into a neighboring dumpster, it could be plugged up, upgraded, and readily used by someone who needs to access the internet or scholastic resources. We recycle electronics and equipment because it can STILL be used to its full potential. Here at orbits recycling is all about the extension of a products life and leveraging its use as much as possible.
